The newly launched Alila Property Residences give investors the opportunity to own an Alila branded villa in one of four locations and still earn money back from holiday rentals. To give owners peace of mind and guests a consistent level of service, the whole rental process is managed by Alila. Furthermore, investors can stay at their villa for up to 42 days per annum allowing them to truly enjoy their investment.

With returns of around 6% for the first few years and shared profits thereafter, the potential profits are arguably not as large as if you were to develop and manage a property yourself. Alila Villas Bintan, Indonesia

The adventurous one

From urban jungle to natural paradise in under an hour, the Alila Villas Bintan are an easy 45-minute ferry from Singapore. Starting from US$1.58 million, the 2- or 3-bedroom villas are set on 14.4 hectares and designed and constructed to EarthCheck’s rigorous environmental standards. For the 2-bedroom villas, owners can enjoy up to 30 days of personal use and a developer guarantee of a fixed return at 6% of purchase price per annum for the first three years and then from the fourth year, owners can earn income from a share of room revenue. The 3-bedroom villas can either be kept as a private residential villa or leased back into the rental pool managed by Alila, or alternatively there is the option to separate the upper and lower levels so the upper level can be rented back as a 2-bedroom guesthouse. With activities such as the Alila cooking school, a crafts heritage museum, yoga and infinite sea sports or a relaxing laze on the beach, this is the perfect investment for those looking for some luxury adventure.

The idyllic one

Fronted by a 2-km long pristine white beach, Alila Dalit Bay Villas are themed ‘Villas in the Forest’ and seamlessly blend into the idyllic surroundings. Starting from US$480,000, the Koh Russey 1-bedroom villas (built on a 450 square metre plot) offer the most affordable choice from Alila, with guaranteed return at 6% of purchase price per annum for the first five years and up to 42 days of personal use. The 2- and 4-bedroom luxury villas offer the flexibility of tailoring personal use and rental of the villa any time you wish and are offering land size ranging from 700-3500 square metres. Only a 15-minute boat ride from the Cambodian coast, the development will benefit from the two million tourists that visit Angkor Wat annually.
